Career
Dave Lagerstrom (he/him/his) is the former president and CEO of TURCK Inc. North America, a global manufacturer of industrial sensors, connectivity products and networking devices that employs over 1,500 people in Minneapolis and Saltillo, Mexico. Prior to joining TURCK in 2000, he worked for SICK AG and Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley.
Dave is dedicated to creating an intentional culture of well-being for his company, believing a workforce that is happy and healthy is also more engaged. As an expert in this area, he had the opportunity to testify on best practices in front of a congressional briefing in Washington, D.C., which also led to a company feature in the Harvard Business Review. Dave was recognized as the 2015 Manufacturing Executive of the Year by Minnesota Business Magazine, which cited his commitment to the overall health and well-being of his people as a contributing factor to this honor.
A strong advocate for transgender children and their families, Dave and his wife Leslie were honored by PFLAG Twin Cities in 2013 with the Robert and Joyce Curoe Award for Outstanding Parents.
In addition to HealthPartners, Dave serves on the boards of HealthPartners Institute, ODVA and GeaCom, Inc.
