Commitment to those we serve
We are committed to living our values. That means you can expect certain things from each of us.
You can expect us to be your partner and treat you with dignity and respect. You can expect us to listen carefully and give you good, timely information. You can expect us to do our best to provide affordable, coordinated, high-quality care and services that are easy to find and simple to use. You can expect safe, clean spaces. And we will do our very best to earn your trust by being open and honest, and keeping our word.
If we ever fail to live up to our values, please tell us so we can work to make it better.
Our stories
We are 26,000 people who believe in the power of good. It’s our passion and culture. It’s in our DNA. We use small moments to make our community better.
The history of HealthPartners
HealthPartners, an integrated health care organization providing health care services and health plan financing and administration, was founded in 1957 as a cooperative. It's the largest consumer governed nonprofit health care organization in the nation – serving more than 1.8 million medical and dental health plan members nationwide. Our care system includes a multi-specialty group practice of more than 1,800 physicians that serves more than 1.2 million patients. HealthPartners employs over 26,000 people, all working together to deliver the HealthPartners mission.
Improving health care
HealthPartners is transforming the delivery of health care and has aligned its mission with the Triple Aim: improving the health of the population, enhancing the patient’s experience, and making health care affordable.
In the community
Health happens outside the doctor’s office, which is why we partner with national and local organizations to improve the health and wellness of
our community.
Research and education
Our Institute is looking for treatments, cures and preventions to common diseases, and also trains more than 700 resident physicians each year.
