HealthPartners CFO Dave Dziuk honored with career achievement award
MINNEAPOLIS – HealthPartners Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dave Dziuk is the recipient of the 2018 CFO Career Achievement award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The award honoree is selected by peers and by members of Financial Executives International, an organization of senior-level financial executives. It recognizes achievement in the financial services profession and contributions to the community.
Dziuk, who plans to retire at the end of 2018, has served in financial leadership positions at HealthPartners for more than 34 years. He was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2009. He serves on numerous boards of directors including the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association (former board chair) and United Way of Washington County-East (treasurer). In addition he served as Treasurer for the Minnesota Council of Health Plans for over 10 years and was a member of the MNSure Health Industry Advisory Committee.
“Dave’s work has been critical in helping us to grow and to make care more affordable,” said Andrea Walsh, HealthPartners President and CEO. “He has helped us maintain financial stability and successfully navigate challenging economic times.” An independent analysis by Optum Health shows that HealthPartners costs for medical care are 17 percent lower than the Minnesota benchmark.
Previous Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Career Achievement honorees include CFO’s from Medtronic, St. Jude Medical and Target Corp.
