HealthPartners named 2019 Most Wired
The Most Wired program recognizes health care organizations using innovative technologies to advance health and care
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – HealthPartners has once again been named HealthCare’s Most Wired by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) for its use of innovation and technology in health care delivery.
As a certified level 8 organization, HealthPartners was recognized as an industry leader for its pursuit of excellence in driving change in the health care industry.
“CHIME’s Most Wired survey has become much more rigorous in recent years,” said Alan Abramson, senior vice president and chief information officer at HealthPartners. “We are pleased to achieve level 8 certification and a special quality award for our use of technology in the high levels of care we provide in our hospitals and clinics by our clinical teams.”
The Most Wired program conducts an annual survey to assess the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading. The goal of the survey is to improve patient safety and outcomes by driving change in the health care IT industry.
“Receiving the CHIME’s Most Wired award is an honor, but more importantly it is the recognition of the importance of staying current with industry trends in a time of rapid and incredible change,” said Kari Toft, vice president of care delivery information systems at HealthPartners. “You simply can’t be complacent in health care IT.”
More than 16,000 health organizations participated in this year’s Most Wired program.
Each organization received a customized benchmarking report, an overall score and scores for individual levels in eight segments: infrastructure, security, business/disaster recovery, administrative/supply chain, analytics/data management, interoperability/population health, patient engagement and clinical quality/safety.
