HealthPartners CEO Andrea Walsh again among nation’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare

January 31, 2025

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — HealthPartners President and CEO Andrea Walsh has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare for the fifth consecutive year.

The annual program honors individuals determined by their peers and senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be the most influential people in the industry in terms of leadership and impact. They represent a range of sectors across the health care industry including care delivery, insurance, technology companies, and policy and administration.

“This recognition is definitely a team honor,” Walsh said. “We have 27,000 amazing colleagues who dedicate themselves every day to the health and well-being of our patients, members and communities.”

Walsh was distinguished for being a respected voice in the health care industry and her leadership in several key areas, including:

  • A commitment to providing care and coverage that is both simple and affordable. This includes the introduction of Hybrid Care, a more convenient approach to care that guides patients to the right care at the right time in the right place.
  • Member satisfaction: HealthPartners was the highest-ranked health plan in overall satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study for the Minnesota-Wisconsin region.
  • Being a champion for community programs like the award-winning Make It OK campaign, which works to decrease the stigma of mental health conditions.

“Our list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare reflects the important contributions of the men and women who helped shape the industry in 2024,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare.
