Nance McClure named one of Top 25 COOs in Healthcare
HealthPartners COO picked by Modern Healthcare to receive national honor
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Nance McClure, Chief Operating Officer of the Care Group for HealthPartners, was named one of the “Top 25 COOs in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare. This honor is presented to chief operating officers from around the United States who are delivering top results in quality, safety and efficiency for employees and patients.
McClure was selected from a broad pool of candidates from across the country. Nominations were judged on several criteria, including moving the strategies of the organization forward; ability to establish collaboration across multiple department and programs; establishing a culture of innovation; and improving patient and employee satisfaction.
“It’s an honor to receive this recognition,” said McClure. “But it wouldn’t have been possible by myself, and I share it with the clinicians and colleagues I work with across our organization. Together, we are privileged to have the opportunity every day to make a difference in people’s lives by improving health care and striving to make it more affordable.”
McClure is responsible for administrative leadership of the HealthPartners Care Group, which includes Park Nicollet and HealthParnters Clinics, as well as Methodist Hospital. The multispecialty group of more than 1,800 physicians serves more than 1.2 million patients in 55 primary care, specialty, and hospital locations throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
The complete list is featured in the May issue of Modern Healthcare Magazine.
