HealthPartners names Nathan Pulscher new president of Olivia Hospital & Clinic
OLIVIA, Minn. — HealthPartners announced today that Nathan Pulscher will be the new president of Olivia Hospital & Clinic. Pulscher, who will begin in early December, brings deep experience in strategic planning and operations, as well as a broad range of experience in clinic services.
For the past six years, Pulscher has been vice president of ancillary services at Lakeview Hospital, in Stillwater, Minn. Lakeview Hospital is also part of the HealthPartners organization. Prior to joining Lakeview, Pulscher held leadership positions at Rapid City Regional Hospital and VA Black Hills Health Care, both located in South Dakota.
“I’m excited for this opportunity at Olivia Hospital & Clinic, and I’m looking forward to building relationships with our colleagues, clinicians and the communities we serve,” Pulscher said.
“As a board we are energized to have Nathan at the helm moving forward, working beside us, living among us and continuing the quality care and innovation our service area has come to expect,” said Olivia Hospital & Clinic board member Sherri Broderius. “We’re excited to welcome him into this new role.” Pulscher has a master’s degree in strategic leadership from Black Hills State University and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from South Dakota State University. He replaces Nathan Blad, who is stepping down after 16 years at Olivia Hospital & Clinic, including the past nine years as president.
