HealthPartners announces new Neurosciences medical leader
MINNEAPOLIS – HealthPartners has named one of its leading neurologists as Senior Medical Director for Neurosciences.
Teresa Tran-Lim, MD, will be the medical leader responsible for the quality, value, strategy and growth of the organization’s Neurosciences service line. That includes Neurology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, interdisciplinary pain clinics, the Neuroscience Center and Struthers Parkinson’s Center, among other areas.
Dr. Tran-Lim joined Park Nicollet in 2008. She has become known as a highly-regarded neurologist with a special focus on epilepsy and became Chair of the Park Nicollet Department of Neurology in 2011. She has also been an adjunct associate professor at both the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and its School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Tran-Lim received her MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by a neurology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and a Fellowship in Clinical Epilepsy & EEG at the Yale School of Medicine.
