Park Nicollet opens new clinic in Lakeville
The relocated clinic offers additional services and extended hours for clinical and urgent care
LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Park Nicollet’s new clinic location in Lakeville began serving patients on Monday, Feb. 24. The new clinic, which is one mile east of the clinic’s former location, provides additional health care services, including urgent care, OB-GYN and eye care, and offers extended morning, evening and weekend hours for patients.
“We are seeing rapid growth in the south metro and we are thrilled to have a beautiful, warm and inviting space that meets our community’s needs,” said Joan Sandstrom, vice president of primary care for Park Nicollet.
The new Lakeville facility at 18484 Kachina Court is a standalone, 28,000-square-foot clinic – almost five times larger than the original clinic space – adding 30 new staff and clinicians over the next five years. The additional space provides the ability to care for an additional 10,000 patients. Health care services include family medicine, pediatrics, radiology, lab, urgent care, OB-GYN and eye care. The clinic’s plan also includes a 12,000-square-foot expansion in the future.
The community is invited to see the new clinic in person at a Community Open House, which will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 2.
This new facility is the first in the south metro Park Nicollet is opening in 2020 to better serve the primary and specialty care needs of the community. In April, Park Nicollet will open on an 83,000-square-foot specialty center in Burnsville.
