Minnesota data practices

The Minnesota Data Practices Act – Chapter 13 (MNDPA) applies to organizations doing work on behalf of MN government agencies (i.e., performing a government function). The MNDPA outlines requirements for determining how data and information are collected, used and managed. It also describes what government–related information is accessible to and can be requested by the public.

HealthPartners has procedures to make sure that requests under the MNDPA are processed and get timely and appropriate responses.
