TRIA Orthopedic Update for Primary Care

TRIA Research and Education Center was pleased to present An Orthopedic Update for Primary Care on Friday, May 10, 2024. 

“From Head and Shoulders to Knees and Toes” was designed for clinicians who are the patient’s first point of contact in the health care system. This conference was for primary care, internal medicine and pediatric physicians; advanced practice providers and rehab specialists – anyone who wanted to learn practical approaches to orthopedic problems and the newest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

Topics included:

  • Upper extremity trauma, neuropathy, and tendinopathy
  • Managing musculoskeletal pain
  • Occupational medicine considerations
  • Diagnostic dilemmas (shoulder/neck; hip/back)
  • Lower extremity sprains and strains

Our hybrid format made it easy to attend – virtually or in person. Attending in person was a great networking opportunity. Everyone received a special giveaway; however, lunch was included for in-person attendees only.
