Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator
Dermatology Residency
I have many hats that I wear in this job. The endless day to day tasks do really pile up but its all worth it in the end to know that I am helping my residents on their educational journey. I am there to help answer questions, guide them on their path and support them in anyway that I can. I do really care about them and want to see them succeed. I am want them to love the fact that they came to our residency program and feel like they are getting the most out of their education.
I love watching my kids play the sports that they love. My girls have grown up playing softball pretty much year-round. This year my youngest has decided to give basketball a try so this is a new adventure for us. I also sit on our local athletic associate as an events coordinator and recently joined the American Legions Auxiliary. I love being able to give back to the community that I live in.
My favorite time of the academic year is in July when the new residents start. They come in and are so excited to be here. It is fun to learn about them as people and support them in their education journey.
