Our innovative research studies explore the latest in medical devices, treatments, methods and more. Through clinical research, we hope to make meaningful advancements in orthopedic care. This is a key component of our mission, and it allows us to seek unique clinical trial opportunities.
We’re furthering orthopedic medicine by offering educational opportunities to both those training to become professionals and those seeking continuing education credit.
Our Surgical Skills Lab is a 2,400 square foot simulated operating room environment with staging and instrument processing areas. The lab is available to rent seven days a week and is open to all surgical specialties.
We are proud to be a participating site for the BEAR-MOON study. This is a multicenter, randomized clinical trial funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The goal is to evaluate the outcomes of the ‘BEAR’ technique for ACL repair. ‘BEAR’ stands for ‘bridge enhanced ACL repair,’ which uses a new technology for ACL repair. Some patients in the study will receive the ‘BEAR’ technique while others will receive a traditional ACL reconstruction with patellar tendon autograft.

Measuring patient outcomes helps us improve the quality of care we provide. We collect data on multiple diagnoses at baseline, and follow-up at specific intervals. Results are reviewed regularly, updated annually and published on our website.
