Pharmacy school: University of Louisiana at Monroe
PGY1 program: University Medical Center New Orleans
Clinical interest areas: Trauma, Burn, ECMO
Why I chose Regions: I chose Regions Hospital because the PGY2 program offers the exciting opportunity to experience new critical care settings, like cardiovascular and neurocritical care, and to continue to gain experience with diverse patient populations. In particular, I look forward to gaining more experience in the burn unit and trauma populations, all of which Regions has to offer as a level I trauma center with a burn center. I am excited to explore different areas of critical care, find my niche, learn from critical care experts, and join interdisciplinary teams where a pharmacist’s opinion is valued!
