Olivia Abdoo, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is the Physical Therapy Manager for Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) in Las Vegas, NV. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences with a Business Administration Minor at Loyola Marymount University followed by the completion of her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at California State University, Long Beach. Olivia continued her education by completing the Duke Sport Physical Therapy Residency and finally gained further experience at the collegiate level as the Wake Forest Division 1 Physical Therapy Fellow. She is an APTA member, AASPT member, and Practice Chair for the Concussion Special Interest Group. Olivia’s most recent publication on the implications of environmental and climate factors on sport related concussion can be read in volume 58 of the Journal of Athletic Training.

Justin Arner, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and a Fellowship at The Steadman Clinic. Dr. Arner is a member of many professional organizations, including American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha, AAOS, Medicine of Cycling, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America, AOSSM, ESSKA, ASES, and the NFL Physicians Society. He has current editorial responsibilities with many well-known journals. He has 119 publications.

Caitlin Chambers, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota, and a surgeon at TRIA Orthopedic Center. Dr. Chambers obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan before attending medical school at Wayne State University. She then went on to complete orthopedic surgery residency at Northwestern University and an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. She is the Minnesota Orthopedic Society Chairperson, TRIA Annual Sports Medicine Conference Co-Chair, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Marketing and Communications Committee Member, University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Member. She is a member of American Orthopaedic Association, Orthopedic Diversity Leadership Consortium, J Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society, Pride Ortho, Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Chambers has 20 publications.

David Hamlar, MD, DDS, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota. He practices at M Health Fairview and Regions Hospital. He got his Bachelor of Science from Tufts University before completing a Doctor of Dental Science at Howard University. He then went on to complete medical school and residency at The Ohio State University and finally a fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Hamlar is a member of AOCMF and AAOHNS. He has 10 publications.

Jeffrey Husband, MD, is the Chairperson for the Department of Orthopedics at TRIA. He completed medical school and an orthopedic residency at the University of Manitoba before completing a Hand Fellowship at Indiana Hand Center. He is a member of ASSH, AAOS, and AOA. Dr. Husband has 2 publications.

Adam Johannsen, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon at TRIA. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of St. Thomas and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota before completing an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Stanford University and finally a Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Steadman Clinic. He is a member of AOSSM and AAOS. He has 12 publications.

Anne Moore, MD, CAQ-SM, MC, is a physician at TRIA. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University, and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Arizona. Dr. Moore then went on to complete medical school and a residency in family medicine at the University of Minnesota before finally completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. She is a member of AMSSM, ACSM, and AMA.

Chad Myeroff, MD, is a Shoulder and Elbow Specialist at TRIA Woodbury and Lakeview Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, before attending the University of Cincinnati Medical School. Dr. Myeroff went on to complete his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by specialized fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Upper Extremity Trauma at the University of Arizona. He is an Associate Member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Myeroff has eight publications.

Brad Nelson, MD, is a professor and Sports Medicine Section Chair at the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a surgeon at TRIA Orthopedic Center. Dr. Nelson completed undergraduate studies at St. John’s University before attending the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then went on to complete Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado and finally completed the John Feagin/West Point Army Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is a member of AOSSM, ISAKOS, Herodicus, and AAOS. Dr. Nelson has several publications.

David Olson, MD, is a team physician at the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins/Saints, Roseville Area HS, US Soccer and serves as Medical Director at the University of St. Thomas. His primary practice locations are TCO, Broadway Clinic, and Bierman Clinic. Dr. Olson attended undergraduate at Gustavus Adolphus before completing his MD at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then went on to complete the United Family Medicine Residency and finally the Notre Dame/South Bend Fellowship in Sports Medicine. He sits on the Board of Directors for AMSSM and is a member of ACSM. Dr. Olson has 7 publications.

Anil Ranawat, MD, is the Chief of the Hip and Knee Division of the Sports Medicine Institute at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where he is also an attending orthopaedic surgeon and Medical Director of HS Paramus and the HSS PA Program. He is also a Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell. Dr. Ranawat serves as Assistant Team Physician for the New York Rangers and New York Mets. He earned his BA from Duke University and his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed his internship in General Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and fellowships in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at UPMC and Hip Preservation Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Schulthess Klinik. Dr. Ranawat is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopic Association of North America, and the American Medical Association. He has authored 130 publications.

Reggie Ronning, MS, LAT, ATC, is an athletic trainer with the TRIA Orthopedic Center’s Sport Concussion Program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Bethel University and completed his graduate degree in Human Performance at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Reggie is a member of the Minnesota Athletic Trainers’ Association (MATA) and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).

Alexandria Taylor, MD, is an emergency medicine senior staff member at Health Partners Valley Group and an Emergency Physician for the MN Frost (PWHL). She practices at Regions Hospital, Lakeview Hospital, Hudson Hospital, St. Croix Health, Amery Hospital, and Westfields Hospital. Dr. Taylor completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Commonwealth University, earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Regions Hospital/Health Partners Institute. She is a member of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Dr. Taylor has authored two publications.

Joi Thomas, MS, serves as Executive Associate Athletics Director at the University of Minnesota Athletics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and went on to complete her Master of Science in Kinesiology. Joi is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the Minnesota Athletic Trainers’ Association (MATA). She also serves on the Big Ten Athletic Medicine Cabinet. She has five publications.

Daniel Whelan, MD, MSc, FRCSC, is a staff surgeon based in Toronto, ON. He earned his MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Western University, his MD from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a BSc in Physics from the same institution. Dr. Whelan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Canadian Orthopedic Association, and the Orthopedic Trauma Association. He serves as a consultant physician for the NHL/NHLPA and holds leadership roles in various medical committees and initiatives. Dr. Whelan has authored 63 publications.
