Chad M. House
Cardiology Research Project Manager

About

Chad’s primary research interests are valvular heart disease and cardiac imaging. Prior to joining HealthPartners and Regions Hospital, Chad was a technical consultant in the heart valve division at Medtronic. While at Medtronic, Chad was involved with an original research project involving prosthetic heart valve imaging artifacts, which stimulated his interest in clinical cardiology research. Since 2008 Chad and the cardiology investigators at Regions Hospital have more than 25 peer-reviewed publications.

Conducting Institute research since 2008.

Education and training:
Bachelor of Science; University of Minnesota-Duluth
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE)

Research interests include: Valvular heart disease and cardiac imaging

Current research activities and funding:
Evaluating sex differences in the quantification of mitral insufficiency using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
