HealthPartners has been recognized by the AHA (American Heart Association) and AMA (American Medical Association) as a Gold-level practice in blood pressure control

HealthPartners is being recognized for a program that provides infusions for biologic medications in a patient’s home, clinics or other lower cost sites. After one year, this unique program has been a great success at reducing costs per member. Because of this, HealthPartners has been recognized as a leader in the nation for this work.

For the fifth year in a row, HealthPartners is being recognized as one of the top performing health systems in the country. Researchers at IBM Watson Health evaluated nearly 2,500 hospitals and 324 health systems across the country. HealthPartners was ranked number 2 in the medium health systems category. This means that we are saving more lives, have fewer medical complications, have shorter wait times in the emergency room and lower costs than other health systems.

In 2024, HealthPartners received 18 awards from Practice Greenhealth , the nation’s leading organization dedicated to environmental stewardship in health care. These awards recognize the hard work and progress we’ve made toward health care sustainability. These awards include:

• Top 25 Environmental Excellence Awards for five of our hospitals: Amery Hospital & Clinic, Hudson Hospital & Clinic, Lakeview Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Regions Hospital.
• The System for Change for our comprehensive sustainability program, for the tenth year in a row.
• Six Circles of Excellence Awards for outstanding performance in five different sustainability categories

HealthPartners has once again been named HealthCare’s Most Wired by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) for its use of innovation and technology in health care delivery. As a certified level 8 organization, HealthPartners was recognized as an industry leader for its pursuit of excellence in driving change in the health care industry.

HealthPartners is one of the top-rated health plans in Minnesota and among the highest-rated plans in the nation with a rating of 4.5 out of 5, according to the NCQA's commercial Health Plan Ratings for 2021.

HealthPartners received a Leadership in Health Care Innovation award. It was given by MN Community Measurement. We earned it for making cancer screening rates between patients of diverse races and insurance types more equal.

Strategic Health Care Communications has recognized HealthPartners mobile app and careers websites with eHealthcare Leadership Award Gold honors.

A collaboration between ICSI and HealthPartners resulted in a Health Care Innovation Award.

A survey by the Star Tribune names HealthPartners one of the Top Workplaces in the Twin Cities.

HealthPartners has been a recipient of the Wellness by Design award since 2007. This award, hosted by Hennepin County, recognizes HealthPartners for promoting a healthy worksite and lifestyle for employees through our well-being program, Be Well.
