Nance McClure joined HealthPartners in 1994 as Vice President for specialty and hospital contracting. In this role she was responsible for the negotiation and administration of contracts with specialty providers, hospitals and other institutions.

Currently, Nance serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the care group, a multispecialty group with more than 1,800 physicians and 55 clinic locations throughout the Twin Cities. Nance works closely with the co-executive medical directors and is responsible for administrative leadership of HealthPartners and Park Nicollet clinics as well as Methodist Hospital.

Prior to joining HealthPartners, Nance served the State of Minnesota as deputy commissioner for labor relations and compensation. While with the State, she was a health care purchaser and was very involved in designing the first tiered product developed by Minnesota. Nance has a unique perspective of health care having been in purchaser, health plan and care delivery roles.
