Secure drop box for unused medicines

Not properly disposing of drugs can increase the risk of accidental poisoning or drug abuse. Throwing away or flushing unwanted medicine can also harm the ecosystem and damage overall health. So what should you do with leftover medicine?

We make it easy for community members to dispose of unwanted medications responsibly by providing a locked drop box. People can use the drop box to return their unwanted medicines, including opioid prescriptions. The drop box at Amery Hospital & Clinic is located just inside the main entrance and can be accessed during regular clinic hours.

Please note that the drop box is only for prescription and over-the-counter medications.
