JANE BRATTAIN BREAST CENTER

Mammo a-go-go

Mammograms available at our mobile mammogram unit

Mammograms help detect breast cancer at the earliest stages, when it’s the most treatable. The Jane Brattain Breast Center is making it easier for women to prioritize breast health with our mobile mammography program, known as Mammo a-go-go.

Mammo a-go-go travels to locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area, giving women convenient access to the latest screening technology in a tranquil environment. Since 2014, over 30,000 mammography screenings have been provided at Park Nicollet clinics and our mobile mammography units at community events.

What is a mammogram on Mammo a-go-go like?

Mammo a-go-go was created to be a calming and private place for women to get mammograms. Each unit has two private changing rooms with lockable cabinets for your personal belongings. Climate control ensures you can comfortably get a mammogram on even the coldest Minnesota days.

Mammo a-go-go features the same type of Hologic 3D Mammography unit used at the Jane Brattain Breast Center. This means your mobile mammogram images will be high quality, just like you’d get at our center.

How much does a mobile mammogram cost?

Most health plans cover preventive breast cancer screenings, but the exact cost can vary. If you’re not sure what your insurance covers, call the number on the back of your insurance card.
