Flu season can take a toll on employee health, company productivity and health care costs. Workplace flu shot clinics are an easy, cost-effective way to keep your employees protected. That’s why we are proud to have a variety of trusted health plan contracted providers who offer easy and convenient onsite workplace vaccine clinics:
- If you have a fully insured group plan with us, there’s no cost to your employees for the vaccines.*
- If you have a self-insured group plan through HealthPartners, you can pay the cost of the vaccines directly to the provider, or the provider can submit medical claims to us.*
We make it easy for our clients to host onsite workplace flu clinics.
We will refer you to a local, trusted HealthPartners’ plan contracted provider that accepts our insurance plans. We’ll make every effort to connect your workplace to an in-network provider who can come to you.
There are several influenza vaccine products available in the market. We will only refer you to providers that administer vaccine products which provide the best protection during flu season.
If employees or their family members have insurance coverage, the in-network provider will generally ask for pre-registration with this information. HealthPartners members can access their member ID cards on their online account or through the HealthPartners app. If participants don’t have HealthPartners or any other coverage, they can still attend. Our contracted providers may be able to accept other payors and allow self-pay. Please inquire with the provider on what other insurance plans that they accept and for self-pay costs.
A flu communication toolkit is available to help promote your clinic and encourage greater flu protection for a healthier workforce.
In addition to the flu shot, our contracted health plan providers may be able to administer other vaccines such as Tdap, Pneumococcal and COVID-19.
