Persistently elevated β-hCG without identification of pregnancy or tumor in the gynecologic organs merits evaluation outside of the reproductive organs. Non-metastatic primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma may be treated with curative intent with primary surgical resection and adjuvant chemotherapy.
