Overview/research interests:
I am interested in the health disparities that exist between minority and majority populations, especially Africans and African Americans, and how to overcome barriers that might improve health outcomes in minority populations. I have been in involved in trying to define and decrease the incidence of HIV /AIDS epidemic in the African born population in the Twin Cities. I am also involved in HIV /AIDS education and advocacy in minority populations.
I am currently involved in research in the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
