Clinical Profile

About

I am an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in hip and knee replacement. Patients with osteoarthritis, or any type of arthritis, may benefit from replacement surgery. I also offer partial knee replacement which can be an excellent option for patients with severe arthritis in just one part of their knee. I chose this specialty because so many patients say, “I feel like I got my life back,” after having surgery; there is nothing more thrilling than hearing that. When treating hip and knee arthritis, I think it is critical to exhaust all nonoperative treatments, and then to work with each patient to decide when it’s the right time for them to have surgery. After surgery, I want to help patients get through recovery and rehabilitation as quickly as possible so they can get back to the activities they enjoy.
