About meI enjoy providing all facets of care to adult inpatients and am passionate about my patients' well-being. I have a passion for global health, rooted in my commitment to reducing health care disparities both locally and globally. I have completed the global health course at the University of Minnesota, work with immigrants and refugees in the Twin Cities and have provided my services with medical missions in Asia and Latin America.

Teaching our next generation of clinicians is a special interest of mine, and I work with medical students and resident doctors as an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. I serve as a core faculty in the residency program and am the site director for year one and two medical student clinical rotations at Regions Hospital. As an academic hospitalist, I have research interests and am involved with quality improvement, clinical reasoning, curriculum development, point-of-care bedside ultrasound and other innovative projects. In addition to Regions Hospital, I provide my services at Hudson Hospital in Wisconsin, and I am credentialed at Lakeview, Mercy and Methodist Hospitals.
