abstract

  • This is dedicated to practice-based performance improvement, and calls for resident participation in performance improved to optimize emergency department function, self-learning and patient care. The Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons CanMEDS 2015 framework also calls for residents to be competent in patient safety and quality domains. There is no doubt that competency in quality and patient safety principles are important skills for today's residents.
