HealthPartners welcomes elected members to board of directors
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – HealthPartners today announced the election of Ruby Lee, Deborah Hopp, Sondra Samuels and David Lagerstrom to its board of directors.
The four members bring a range of experience in community health, philanthropy, health equity, education, employee wellness and communications to advance the mission and vision of HealthPartners:
- Ruby Lee – Lee is newly elected to the board. She is president and CEO of Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES).
- Deborah Hopp – Hopp is an incumbent member of the board, first elected in 2017. She is president of MSPC at MSP Communications and serves as chair of the HealthPartners growth and innovation board committee.
- Sondra Samuels – Samuels is an incumbent member of the board, first elected in 2019. She is president and CEO of Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) and serves as chair of the HealthPartners governance board committee.
- David Lagerstrom – Lagerstrom is president and CEO of Turck Inc. He was appointed to serve on the board to fill the vacancy left by Pahoua Yang Hoffman, who recently accepted the role of senior vice president of government and community relations at HealthPartners.
